Be has been in his helmet for seven weeks, and we are starting to see some results. We went to Dallas last week and saw Dr. Genecov and had a helmet adjustment. Dr. Genecov was pleased with Ben's head. He said he is starting to get some bone growth on top where his giant soft spot is. He was also glad to see that Ben's head is not growing tall on top. His head is growing in all the right places. We will not see Dr. Genecov again for two months- so we have at least two months left of helmet therapy.
Ben had a few minor adjustments on his helmet. The exciting part of our appointment was another scan. With the scan, the technician was able to show me exactly where his head has grown and where we want it to go. It helps to see it on the computer!

Ben amazes us with his great personality and easy-going nature. He is a great traveler and a good sport about everything he has to go through. He is such an amazing baby! We couldn't ask for more.
He is getting so big! Glad to hear things are good and getting better. Thanks for keeping us updated :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the update! WOW, the pictures really show the difference. Amazing that it has only been 2 months. YAY for Ben!!
